Endophytes include microorganisms such as fungi and bacteria that live in healthy plant tissues without causing symptoms or disease. These microorganisms exist in a symbiotic relationship with their host plant, producing a wide range of metabolites that contribute to the overall survival of the plant. The aim of this study was to investigate some metabolites produced by endophytic fungi in grapevine orchards in Zanjan province. For this purpose, samples were collected from grapevine orchards in Zanjanprovince during October to November 2017. The identification of fungal isolates was based on morphological characteristics and ITS-rDNA sequence data for selected isolates. As endophytes produce various metabolites in their hosts, they possess divers chemical structures such as alkaloids, terpenoids, quinones, peptides, xanthones, acid have fatty acids and phenolic compounds. Some of these metabolites including D-Homoandrostane (5α,13α), Eicosane, Heneicosane, Hexadecane, Octadecane, Octadecanoic acid, Pentadecanoic acid, Tetracosane, Tetradecanoic acid, Tetradecanethiol, α-Muurolene, Methyl 16-methyl-heptadecanoate were traced and identified in this research by fungal species Cytospora viticola, Epicoccum nigrum and Microsphaeropsis olivacea. These metabolites possess antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant, antibiotic and antifungal properties.
